Sonoran property Inspections is now doing infrared scans during our home inspections at an additional fee. The fee is very reasonable depending on sq.ft. of the home. This infrared scan of the ceilings and walls allows me the inspector to get a different look . The infrared camera see's temperature. When I am doing an inspection, it is a visual inspection and I can't tell you waht the insulation looks like behind the drywall or in the ceiling . Sometimes I can get a good look at it in the attic but it is a limited look since the ability to move around in the attic is poor at best.

The infrared scan can show us through temperature exactly where the insulation is sagging, displaced or altogether missing. This is a great benefit and for the additional cost is very affordable.
