Sonoran Property Inspections- Double Tapped Wires.

Sonoran Property Inspections was doing another phoenix home inspection yesterday and found some double tapped wires as well as a scorched wire in the main panel. These are safety issues and of course were written up in the report for correction. The double tapped wires are ok IF the panel manufacture states so in the data information tag inside the panel. If the data tag is missing I always write it and approach this issue as a safety condition needing correction. The electrician can research the panel manuafacture and can determine if the condition is ok or not as long as he writes it up on his company letterhead and stands behind his decision.

I would rather approach the issue cautiously and error on the side of safety first.
