Sonoran Property Inspections- Pool Safety and Fences

Sonoran Property Inspections discovered yet another pool without proper safety barriers while doing a Phoenix Home Inspction saturday. This was a gate that was only 40" above grade, was not self closing or self locking. This was wrong on all accounts and is an accident waiting to happen. I immediately told the sellers about the issue and of course wrote up the issue so that all parties concerned can get this condition fixed befor a tragedy occurs.

I also discoved a pool pump with the proper bonding that is needed. The copper wire was there but not installed to the pump. This of course is a very easy fix and there is NO need to get stressed about this.

Homeowners with pools should do a safety check on the pools at leats 2x's a year to make sure everything is as safe as can be, it only takes one issue to have a tragedy and there is no need for that with the available information we have access to. Please get your pools inspected and have repairs done asap.
